美术系： 美术学系成立于2002年并于同年招生，现有教师15名，其中教授4名，副教授5名，并有多名博士，硕士毕业生及欧洲留学归国的硕士和专家。美术学系师资配置齐全，可开设中国画、油画、雕塑、壁画、公共艺术、版画、理论等美术系列课程。美术学系教师在教学与科研方面都取得了优异的成果，教师作品曾多次参加国际重要展览、双年展、个展和国内的主要展览与艺术活动，其中有4人被权威的《20世纪中国艺术史》载入。同时美术学系还聘有十几位海内外著名艺术家为我系客座教授。美术系将在新的社会发展中形成有自己特色的教学科研体系，并培养新型的美术学专业人才。美术学硕士点设有“中国画、油画、雕塑、壁画4个研究方向，学制3年。
Department of Fine Arts：
Inaugurated in 2002, the Department of Fine Arts has 15 faculty members including 4 professors and 5 associate professors, and many are doctor and master degree holders graduated from famous European universities and colleges. The Department offers a complete range of programs like Chinese painting, oil painting, sculpture, mural painting, public art, printmaking, theories of art etc., of which the ones in Chinese painting, oil painting, sculpture, and mural painting are complete with the right to award M. A. degrees upon completion of 3 years of studies. The faculty members of the Department excelled in their respective academic fields, and the works of them are frequent exhibits in international and domestic major exhibitions and arts shows. Four of the members are listed in the widely recognized book: History of 20th Century Chinese Arts. At the same time, the Department employs over ten world renowned artists as the adjunct professors. Consequently, the Department has established an unique system of programs aiming at the training of new type of talents in fine arts to cater to the changing social demands. The Department offers 3-year M. A. programs of fine arts in four areas, i.e., Chinese Painting, Oil Painting, Sculpture, and Mural Painting.
