“Double Undergraduate Degree of Journalism Program” with University of Missouri

The University of Missouri was founded in Columbia, Missouri in 1839. The School of Journalism at the University of Missouri was founded in 1908 and is the first Journalism School in the world. The School of Journalism at the University of Missouri has created the famous “Missourian Method”, successfully combining classroom education and news practice, and has been hailed as one of the most innovative journalism school in the world.

Students participating in this program will study in Southwest Jiaotong University during the first and second academic years, and students’ roll management will be carried out by Southwest Jiaotong University. In the third and fourth academic year, students will study in University of Missouri and their roll is managed by it, where they will finish all the required courses. The University of Missouri and Southwest Jiaotong University will both award bachelor's degree to the student who completes the required courses and meets the respective credit and degree requirements.
