The documentary “We Spend A Miao Year” had shortlisted the 2015 Beijing Ethnic Film Festival, which was produced by Mr. Wu Xiaolin, Mr. Li Jialun, together with students Tian Dong and Zhao Qian who came from the Television Center of School of Arts and Communication, and this film will be released to the public from 2015 April 18 to 24 in Beijing.The documentary “We Spend A Miao Year” was an anthropological documentary which was completed by our School’ Television Center and the Southwest University for Nationalities together. With the experience of one normal Miao family in Leishan city, Guizhou province spending their New Year, this works presented the custom of Miao people spending their New Year. This film was vivid and honest, well-made, and got high praise from experts. It was reported that the film would be forever collected by the National Museum of China.
