At 1:00 pm, 1stApril, 2015, University of the Arts London Senior scholar Cath Johnson and LondonUniversityof the Arts Office inChengduline, visited our school for admissions exchange seminar. The seminar was held in classroom 8539 of theSchoolofArtsand Communication. The guests were vice Dean Gan Lin, Head of the Department of Industrial Design Professor Huang Tao, teacher Xu Yongsheng, teacher Yang Jian, teacher Huang Lei and other teacher representatives.First, Professor Johnson introduced campus profiles of University of the Arts London, and demonstrated the works of students from the University of the Arts London, which contained design works of many Chinese students. The positive spirit and creative spirit of Chinese art students abroad moved the teachers and students.

Professor Johnson talked that students studying design and arts should have the following disciplines qualities: ability to think independently, a complete thought process, actively hands-on designing and testing works. She stressed that the admissions requirements and criteria of University of the Arts London, whether students had these three qualities were very important.

The seminar was primarily for the work of admissions of our school arts professional undergraduate. Finally, Professor Johnson expressed welcome for our shcool students to study in University of the Arts London in future, as well as cooperation expectation with our school in the future. The seminar was so informative, fully interactive that our students had benefited a lot and had a more specific and deeper understanding the life of learning and living abroad.
