She was selected as the 10th batch of reserve candidates for Science and Technology leaders of Sichuan Province. Now she is the head of Chinese Department, academic leader of Ancient Literature and Classical Philology, and is in charge of the academic construction of liberal arts in Vietnam Research Center, SWJTU. Her research orientation includes foreign Chinese literature, literature and philology in Han and Tang, philology of art, etc. More than 50 academic papers were published. Sevaral monographs by her were also published, namely, Bibliography Research on Vietnamese Ancient Books (Chung Hwa Book Company, 2007), Studies on Collected Works of Si Ku Quan Shu (Bashu Publishing House,2010), Studies on Vietnamese Chinese Books and Literature Exchange between China and Vietnam (China Social Sciences Press, 2018), ancient books collation Vietnamese Chinese Novels Collection. A Rough Record (Shanghai Chinese Classics Publishing House, 2010). Liu Yujun once won the Second and Third Outstanding Achievement Award of Sichuan Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences, and Lixin Tang Outstanding Scholar Award. She hosted and participated over 10 national and provincial projects. Among them, the National Social Science Fund project—"vietnamese Chinese books and literature exchange between China and Vietnam” and “studies on the influence of Chinese classic poetry to the form of Vietnamese poetry tradition” can be taken as representatives.
