He is a Doctor & Associate Professor of School of Humanities, Southwest Jiaotong University, received a master's degree in Mass Communication from the School of Journalism and Communication, Middle Tennessee State University in 2002 and a Doctorate in Communication from the University of Utah in 2008.
He worked in brand marketing in Los Angeles.
He worked in teaching and scientific research in the fields of integrated marketing communication, social media marketing, cultural industry investment, Internet economy, etc. after returning to China in 2008; years of experience in investment consulting (cross-border investment, TMT, blockchain, energy, medical care, film and television, etc.), and initiated or involved in numerous cross-border industrial investment and business cooperation projects; besides, he is the mentor of SYE University Students' Entrepreneurship and Innovation Office and enterprise mentor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center of Sichuan University Students.
In 2015: he was awarded the "Top 12 Excellent Mentor" of university students' entrepreneurship in Sichuan Province, Appraiser of Chengdu 12th Five-Year Plan (Cultural Industry Section), Consultant of numerous incubators/venture capital funds.
From 2009 to 2013: he served as Senior Consultant for the investment and development of the cultural industry and new media sector of Chengdu Media Group; chiefly engaged in the planning and implementation of multiple major cultural industry projects, such as the positioning, operation structure design and operation management of Eastern Suburb Memory (formerly Chengdu Eastern Music Park), Chengdu Wuliangye (Damofang) Performing Arts Complex and Lhasa Wencheng Princess Large-scale Live Drama; besides, he worked as strategic consultant for a large number of listed companies.
