She is involved in research on Chinese film history, film theory and criticism. More than 60 of her academic papers were published in various professional and important journals like Cinema of the Present, Film Art, and Journal of Beijing Film Academy, and she also has 2 published monographs. She hosts many projects, like art project supported by National Social Science Fund, sub-project of major project of the National Social Science Fund, major tender projects of provincial philosophy and social sciences. She once won the Review Award of Chinese Federation of Literature and Art, Best Paper Award of Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences, etc. She is the panelist of the Academic Forum of China Film Archive, visiting scholar of “the Western Light” project by Central Organization Department. She is also taken as evaluation and project appraisal expert for projects of National Social Science Fund, humanities and social sciences project by Ministry of Education and Chang Jiang Scholars Program.
